Things to do

Enjoy Wine Country

There are MANY wineries in the area. The Santa Ynez Valley is known for Pinot Noir and Syrahs. Reservations are helpful, so please book ahead of time! Some of our favorites (other than Gainey - you'll have plenty of that at the reception):

1) Dragonette

2) Foxen

3) Andrew Murray

Tell them it was recommended by Ryan Miller if you join the wine club ;)

There are myriad tasting rooms in Los Olivos, you can walk down the main street, taste great wine, and eat tri-tip sandwiches at the general store, and enjoy the cute aesthetic.

Solvang is a city in southern California's Santa Ynez Valley. It's known for its Danish-style architecture and many wineries. The Elverhøj Museum of History & Art explores the city's Danish heritage through personal stories and photographs. The Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum exhibits dozens of classic American, Japanese and European motorbikes. The Old Mission Santa Inés is an early-1800s Franciscan church. (source: wikipedia)
