Attire is semi-formal.

The Santa Ynez Valley is known for the significant diurnal temperature variation - it's what makes the wine so good! Temperatures are warm during the day and drop significantly at night. We will have some heat lamps at the reception, but we also suggest having a jacket or shawl that you can hang on your chair during the ceremony so you can be prepared for the possible drastic change in temperatures.

Ceremony starts at 5pm, followed by "cocktail" hour (wine & beer), then dinner and dancing! The city of Santa Ynez has a noise ordinance for outdoor music at 10pm, so the party starts shutting down at the venue at 9:30 with shuttles to take everyone to their next destination.
Yes, dad.

We will be going to Maverick Saloon after the reception - a bar fairly close to Gainey. Shuttles will take guests to continue the festivities.
Yes. Ubers and Lyfts are not plentiful. Shuttles will leave from the Marriott and Hampton Inn & Suites. The first shuttle will leave at 3:45pm and the last shuttle will leave at 4:25pm to take everyone to Gainey. The shuttles will then transport people to the Maverick Saloon starting around 9:30pm (since we have to be out of Gainey by 10p), and then back to the Marriott/Hampton Inn after all guests have left Gainey. If you are not ready to leave the Maverick with the last shuttle at 1am, the Chumash Casino ALSO has a free shuttle service that will take people to the Chumash.. and when you're done bringing out the winner in you, their shuttle can take you wherever you want to go (ie your Air BnB or Hotel)!
Wine and beer will be provided. Gainey Vineyard is not allowed to serve hard liquor - so you'll have to wait until Maverick's (where you will have to pay for your own drinks :)) to hit the liquor.
We will have passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour and a seated dinner. Please let us know if you would like beef, fish or the vegetarian option. If you have certain intolerances, please let Kelsey know so she can coordinate with the caterers! Yes, we can make the vegetarian option vegan if necessary, but please state it on the RSVP so we know to tell the caterers.
We LOVE your children. That being said, we encourage our friends to try and make arrangements so that you can really cut loose with us!
Please click on the "Travel" tab at the top of the website where you can find the hotels where we have gotten reduced rates.
If you're invitation says "and guest", or names your guest, then YES!

If not, then no.
We strongly recommend using the shuttle for ease and safety. There are minimal Uber & Lyft drivers. The venue prohibits overnight parking.
We have a coordinator named Leticia Resch, who can be contacted the day of the event with any questions. Phone number: 805-324-3531
